Contracted Katrina Laur to work on my boat. Boat was pulled out on 7/11/22. Tuesday work began. Katrina's brother installed the zinc. I tighten the zinc above the prop because I lost one in the past. They sanded and painted . They left, I checked and the bolt behind the prop was stripped. Notified Katrina, stated they would be back Wednesday. Didn't call or show on Wednesday. I texted her, she stated be back Thursday. Katrina her boyfriend, and her dad Tim Laur showed up on Thursday. Tim fixed the stripped bolt. I inquired if the bolt was helicoil. Tim accused me of telling his son to overtighten the bolts, and that's why one stripped out. He stated if I touched the bolts it voids warranty. I checked the bolt, it was tight. Katrina came yelling and swearing at me they quit because I disrespected her family. Tim has 35 years experience and I need to trust his work. She threatened she would make sure nobody at Boatworks would work on my boat. Shocked at this vendors behavior.
